BSS 2015 Flier

BSS 2015 flier background image display a part of the image of French painter Amédée Forestier (1854-1930) – La Gigue irlandais – published in December 1, 1894 for the first time. The image can be found in The National Library of Ireland collections. Upon our request, we have received an approval from this institution to use of this image for the benefit of BSS 2015.
Amedee Forestier studied drawing under the direction of Henri Lehmann at the Ecole des Beaux-art. After his studies, he began working for the Illustrated London News. He became known for its historical illustrations. Forestier lived most of his life in England, where he died on 14 November 1930 at the age of 76 years.
