Welcome to Tereza Bernardová personal website. Tereza is an accomplished Irish dancer and tutor in the Czech Republic and abroad. She has been doing Irish dance over fifteen years. During her eight-year stay in Great Britain and Ireland, she has broaden her knowledge and learnt her skills from qualified and accomplished individuals well known in the Irish dance and music circuits. Tereza is certified Irish dance teacher (T.C.R.G.) registred with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha. She also holds a Master degree (First Class Hons.) in ..


"Irish Traditional Dance Performance" from the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance in University of Limerick in Ireland.  Tereza performs with Irish dance shows "Ragús", "Irish Legends" and "Pulses of Tradition" and has previously performed with "Rhythm of the Dance". She made her appearance on TG4 (Irish national television) in programmes "Féilte", "An Samhraid Linn", "Gradam Ceoil" and "Step Beo". As a sean nós dancer she presented her skill during the third series of TG4's all Ireland talent competition "An Jig Gig" and won the second place in the final round.

Tereza has been actively popularising Irish dancing in the Czech Republic and abroad. Together with Andrej Mikulka she runs the inSpiral Dance Company, which is a dance school and performing group offering various Irish dance classes and tap dance. Apart from tuition in the Czech Republic, inSpiral Dance Company has expanded also to Finland and Germany. Bernard's family has been promoting Irish dancing and music in the Czech Republic for a long time. Their most successful project so far has been the Bernard's Summer School.
