Last instructions before BSS 2010

I would like to take this opportunity to point out a few details to participants of this summer school - especially those who come for the first time – relating to their presence and organization of the event.

- Above all, it is not necessary to rush to the BSS venue at ZS Zárubova grammar school on the Saturday 14 August. We will take over the school in the morning and it will take a while before it is prepared for the needs of the summer school. Saturday is for travelling and free time can be used to explore Prague. Nevertheless, it is possible to leave your luggage at the BSS reception. We will start accommodating people only after noon.

- On arrival, please report to the reception, where you will receive a nametag. Check the correctness of your name carefully and protect your badge: it is your entrance ticket to the summer school venue to two events: the ceilí evening on 18 August at KC Novodvorská and the Final Evening at KC Vltavská. We also ask for payment of all charges in the Czech currency (CZK). It is possible to register for more lessons, if there is no collision with the schedule.

- I would like to ask those first accommodated who enter into the class room to take notice of the furniture layout. We would like to see furniture returned to its place at the end of the summer school.

- Summer school begins with an evening ceilí which will be held in the school gym and will be with cd-music. This also means there will be dancing. Attendance at this evening is not mandatory for participants.

- The lessons start on Sunday, 15th August. Each participant must come at the beginning of lessons, which they applied to. It is therefore not necessary at all for participants of the music lessons, singing and Irish to come on Sunday morning (but you can). Those who need to settle something about registration or payment, I would like to ask you to come in advance, so that we not disrupt the start of the lessons.

- The bodhrán class is a complicated group. You will be divided into 2 groups, which will be done by Roman Kozák. On Sunday 15 August, come to the lesson preferably at 13:45 pm to resolve the division.
