Bernard´s Summer School is over

The Summer School is definitely over and its participants and teachers travelled back to their homes. As organisers of this educational event we are hoping that the participation was not perceived as a loss or waste of time by anyone and that everyone received an appropriate „boost“ for the beginning of the new season, regardless whether a dancer, musician or Irish speaker.

Nevertheless, we would like to approach you with a few requests.
It is important for every organiser to find some feedback which will help to eliminate any shortcomings or which will be a source of inspiration, important for future development of an event such as our Summer School. We tried to install a box for your comments called Hyde Park already during the event but maybe people’s tiredness, the hot weather or reluctance to do anything more than what was necessary prevented people from providing their opinion – albeit anonymously – from a participant’s point of view. And therefore we would like to address those who want to or are willing to write anything about the event which just finished and ask them to do so. I would like to point out that you don’t need to be afraid even of critical comments. Although we are pleased to receive praise, your suggestions which can be used in preparation of next year’s event can be the most valuable. Therefore do not hesitate to send your comments to vaclav@bernards.cz or to other family members’ e-mails.
