The Bruder-Klaus-Heim is located in Violau, a village with about 100
inhabitants at roughly 30 km west of Augsburg in Bavaria. Major towns around
Violau are Altenmünster and Zusmarshausen. The beautiful building is surrounded by a
marvellous huge park. Of the 90.000 m2 (22 acres) which the park covers, 14.000
m2 are covered by a picturesque lake. There is also a camping area, a playground with fancy attractions for kids, a small heated swimming pool, several terraces with garden chairs and tables, campfire spots and much more. The workshops and ceilithe will be held outdoors at the boathouse by the lake, illuminated by torches and lanterns. The meals will also be held there.

Augsburg is located around 60 km west of Munich. On a clear day you can see the Alps. King Ludwig´s fairy tale kastle “Neuschwanstein” is well worth a visit, as well as the picturesque countryside surrounding the castle including the town of Oberammergau well renowned for its Passion Plays. A sightseeing tour of Augsburg city is a must with its ancient walls, Renaissance architecture and medieval old city, as well as the famous Augsburg Puppet Theatre or a visit to one of our breweries. In Augsburg there are a lot of typical Bavarian beergardens. You are welcome to contact us for any questions.

Accommodation and boarding:
Violau is a very little village with no possibilities for lunch and dinner. So we arranged full board from Friday evening until Sunday noon offered as buffet. This includes
Friday: dinner
Saturday: breakfast, lunch, dinner, midnight snack
Sunday: breakfast, lunch
(Breakfast is included for guests staying overnight)
We will also provide for finger food, cake, tea and coffee to take you through the weekend. And you can expect the prices for nonalcoholic drinks to be very attractive!

Full board and camping (own tent or shared tent, showers are available in a separate house at the lake) 56 €/p.p.
