Irská přání vhodná ku příležitosti oslavy dne sv. Patrika

Není nad to projevit se jako vzdělanec a mezi přípitkem irskou whiskey a polibkem našeho protějšku utrousit nonšalantně nějakou irskou moudrost a to nejlépe v irštině. A když by mohla selhat irská výslovnost, proč nezkusit protějšek omráčit stejným ale v angličtině? A když se to nepodaří nacpat mezi přípitek a polibek, proč to neposlat pohlednicí, nejlépe e-mailovou? Na dalších řádkách najdete něco dobrých námětů. Takže: Do toho!

To je takové běžné, až tuctové (i když v irštině má to svůj půvab). Podívejme se po jiných:

May your pockets be heavy, your heart be light and may good luck pursue you Each morning and night

May the good saints protect you and bless you today and may troubles ignore you Each step of the way

May St. Patrick guard you wherever you go
